St.Peter’s Junior School is situated in Littleover, a 10 minute drive from Derby City centre and is a Church of England Voluntary Aided School. Our school sits between two roads and our main entrance is on Thornhill Road. Part of our building is on Church Street which is situated directly opposite our parish Church – St. Peter’s Church – with whom we work very closely.

We aim to provide an education of the highest quality within the Christian tradition; in which the potential of every child is developed. As we seek to prepare our pupils for life we strive to equip children with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to be able to make informed choices and help them to lead happy and rewarding lives.

There are approximately 250 children on roll, organised into 8 classes. The classes are housed in an interesting variety of buildings, the oldest dating back to Victorian times and the newest added in 1998. The majority of our pupils transfer from Carlyle Infant School with whom we liaise regularly.
