WELCOME, VISION, ETHOS

Our school is an Aided Church of England Junior School which gives us a rich and distinctive ethos. We want everyone involved with our school to embrace our vision:

Ready and Respectful: To nurture a love of learning; creating ambitious, caring and respectful children with the faith and courage to positively impact our world.

All our children are given the opportunity to reach their full potential, intellectually, socially, physically, creatively, emotionally and spiritually in a supportive safe and stimulating atmosphere.

The school aims to promote a caring Christian attitude and create a friendly and supportive environment in which children can enjoy a complete education. The staff are totally committed to the continual development of our school and we are here to work with you to provide the best possible learning experiences in addition to academic skills. It is my sincere hope that your child will soon feel that he or she is an established and respected member of the school community and of course enjoy themselves through this essential stage of their education.

Education is very much a partnership between home and school and is most effective when pupils, staff, governors, families and the wider community work together to ensure that all children have successful learning experiences. If there is something you would like to know about the school, which is not covered on our website please just ask. In addition, if you have a query as your child progresses through school, we will be happy to answer your questions.
