St.Peter's Church
The school is an Aided Church of England Junior School which means that the church owns the site and the buildings and the Church governors have a majority on the governing body. The vicar of St. Peter's visits the school regularly in a pastoral capacity. The emphasis of Religious Education (RE) teaching is on the Christian faith.
We also teach our children about other faiths and cultures. All children are presented with a Bible as a gift on entry to year 3. Parents have a legal right to withdraw the children from RE and religious services. We invite parents to our beginning and end of term services, which are held in St.Peter's Church.
