The Bridge Team is a church & school based team made up of St Peters Church members and St Peters School staff. Its aim is to bridge the gap between church and school in a two way connection - to tell faith stories, to listen, to pray, to have fun and to meet people where they are.
We can often be found in school serving refreshments throughout the year at events including parents evenings (where we also run a small messy craft table), school performances, year two parent visits etc. We also in church with refreshments before and after each school service held at the start and end of each term. We can also to be found helping out at school concerts in church as well as running a craft stall at the summer fair!
We offer three Messy family events in the school year, once a term (just before Christmas, Easter and the summer holidays). These are for the whole family and include games, a story, a wide range of craft activities and refreshments/snacks! We also work with school on projects such as the prayer boards in the classrooms and we love to be able to pass on chocolate advent calendars and Easter eggs both of which also share something of both the Christmas and Easter stories!
Whatever your own faith tradition we would love to meet you and your family so do come say and say hello at the next event. (We are identifiable by Bridge badges that we will always wear when we are working!).
