Science

Our aim in Science is to encourage children to learn about the world around them by exploring it using all their senses and by testing ideas / questions to explain this world. We encourage the children to think scientifically, ask appropriate questions, form hypothesis, test fairly their ideas and interpret results to form conclusions. These skills of scientific enquiry are taught through contexts taken from the three science strands, Life processes and Living things, Materials and their Properties and Physical Processes.
