Christmas Performance

                                            Our Yr 6 Christmas Play
 
 
Our Christmas play was about a fourth wise man who was always late. Artaban was played brilliantly by Hannah Winfield.
The story showed the 3 wise men and Artaban on a journey from Perisa to Bethlehem.
The 3 wise men followed a star leading to the new born king of Palestine named Jesus. Artaban also went on this journey but as usual he was late.
The story showed he was late because along the way he met hungry, poor, sick and rejected, meaning people needed his help.
He soon realised he had given all of his jewels and pearls away to help those people.
When he finally got there, the 3 wise men told him "although you are late, if you helped the poor and needy, you helped the king too."
 
A big well done to all of yr 5 for the help singing and to yr 6 who made a great effort performing the play and thanks to all the teachers who helped out.
