This half term our collective worship theme has changed to thinking about compassion. In assembly we thought about how we can be compassionate towards other people. We thought about where the needs are in our world and how we can support other people to help. We have thought about the money that we raised for Children in Need and how we can support others in our community that need help.

We discussed what compassion means - the idea that it is more than 'feeling sorry' for someone, we need to imagine what it is like to be in their shoes and how it might feel.

We were asked to think about how we can show compassion in our lives.
