PTFA Craft Event

Published on 6 February 2020

The PTFA would like to thank all of the children who took part in the Craft Event last week.

We were really pleased with the efforts made by the children and they really did come up with some fantastic designs and artwork to be proud of. They worked in a well-behaved manner and were all polite and courteous to each other and the parent helpers making us proud with their 'Ready and Respectful' approach - so much so, they were all awarded 3 dojos each!

The PTFA team thoroughly enjoyed the event and hope that the children did too!

We will be holding another craft afternoon in the second half of Spring Term - date to be confirmed. So if you child missed out, or enjoyed it so much they want to come back, keep your eyes peeled for information being released.

We are waiting on our Treasurer supplying final figures on what we made from the event and will keep you informed. As we had to buy a lot of additional materials this time, the profit will be low, but the next event will top this up. All the money we raise goes directly back into our school for materials and help towards costs for things the school otherwise couldn't afford.

We are currently looking to purchase a shed for the outdoor PE equipment to be stored - ensuring longevity of the equipment we have so the children can enjoy the activities! We have also helped to fund the coaches for the Christmas Theatre Trip recently and looking into other resources needed by the school - every little bit really adds up.

And finally, please do get involved and come and help out. We can't provide these events without the help of parents and carers and we really do have fun! So don't be shy, come and meet us and help out - we are a really friendly bunch!!
