Soccerstars activity day

On Friday the 5th October Soccerstars facilitated an activity day for the whole school to participate in. The children came to school ready for action and we couldnt have asked for better weather. During the course of the day each class visited the school field to participate in a carousel of activity. Every child was encouraged to play a game of football, to develop their skills and to take their shot at the penalty shoot out board.

The children were sponsored by people at home to score goals with the shoot out in the hope of raising funds for school. The intention is to use the money the children collect to help develop the top playground into a fun, inspiring place to be.

Pat returned to school this week to present the highest scoring boy and girl from each class with a prize and to congratulate everyone on their participation in the fun day.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank every child for their involvement in making the day an enjoyable one and to thank parents and friends for their sponsors which will help us make our school environment a more pleasant to be.
