Strawberry Tea - Breast Cancer Care
As part of our ongoing charity work at St Peters, a strawberry tea was held in the school hall.
The morning was spent preparing the hall and turned it into a strawberry wonderland.
All pupils attended during the afternoon and participated in a number of activities related to strawberries.
Many parents also spent the afternoon with us enjoying a cup of tea and a slice of strawberry cake, thank you for all donations.
Mrs Curry, Mrs Johnston, Mrs Scotton, Mrs Vance and their team of year 6 helpers were absolutely superb and helped make the event so very successful.
A special thanks to everyone who supported the afternoon, staff who made cakes and parents who donated cakes, including the donations made by Tesco and Iceland we raised an amazing £333.57 which will now be sent to the Breast Cancer Care Charity.
