The First Snow Falls

The first snow fell today, as the children arrived at school the snow was falling gently and the children and adults were very excited.
Snowball fights ensued and the children had so much fun throwing their snowballs at one another and at members of staff alike.
It was a lovely atmosphere as we all enjoyed the morning snowfall, all wrapped up warm against the cold.
Is this the first snowman of the Winter? He did not last very long as his cucumber eyes fell off and he melted away.
