On Wednesday 19th November 2008 Steve and Di arrrived in 4C to teach us all a new skill. The children and Mrs Cavanagh sat down ready to find out what exciting things we were going to learn.

During the first session Steve talked us through how to draw a portrait and we focussed on the technical side of the drawing. Everybody in 4C worked really hard and thought carefully about their drawings.

The second session involved us using a picture of ourselves to draw a self portrait using the skills that we had just been taught. Many of our pictures show a distinct likeness to the artist! 

Our challenge is to create a background for our sketch which clearly shows our character or things that we enjoy doing.
